The blogging community in Nebraska is quickly growing and it makes me SO happy.

There are so many creative and talented people in this state and I’m glad that they are sharing their gifts/knowledge with the rest of us. My friend, Whitney, is an essential oil expert. She sells doTERRA oils and has her own blog called The Lavender House with tips and practical uses for essential oils.

I asked Whitney if she would share with us a fun DIY Christmas gift using essential oils. If you’re like me, you want to give everyone you know a gift for the holiday season but don’t have an endless budget to do so. This is the perfect way to treat your loved ones without breaking the bank. Don’t forget to make one for yourself, as well. 🙂

Our family uses doTERRA and we feel they are a wonderful alternative to treating illness, discomforts, and moods. (It doesn’t hurt that they smell AMAZING.) They are a bit of an investment, but I believe it is fully worth it. We budget a small amount each month to invest in oils and slowly but surely our collection is growing. If you’re interested in learning more about the use of essential oils or if you want to host a class with your girlfriends (super fun) you can contact Whitney for further information. Essential oils almost make a great gift or stocking stuffer! My personal favorites are Lavender and Citrus Bliss. Total mood boosters and totally necessary for this crazy thing called motherhood.

A special thanks to Whitney for being my very first blog feature! Be sure to follow along on her website for more exciting tips.

Cheers to smelling lovely,

Jord.
